Calling on Malawian Youth | UN SUMMIT OF THE FUTURE

In an ever-evolving world, the challenges of today require innovative solutions for tomorrow. The United Nations Summit of the Future brings global leaders, experts, and advocates together to chart a path toward a more inclusive and sustainable future. But the most important part? Youth like you—the next generation of leaders—are at the heart of this transformation.

Calling on Malawian Youth: Your Voice Matters at the United Nations Summit of the Future! 🇲🇼🌍

Here at Kwathu Kollective, we believe that Malawian youth have the power, creativity, and determination to be the driving force behind global change. That’s why we are excited to announce our collaboration with the Resident Coordinator’s Office (RCO) in Malawi to produce a video that explains what the Summit of the Future is all about, and more importantly, how YOU can get involved!

What is the UN Summit of the Future?

The Summit of the Future is a pivotal global event where world leaders and key stakeholders come together to reimagine what the future can and should look like—addressing critical issues like sustainability, climate change, inequality, and digital transformation. It’s not just about discussion—it’s about action, innovation, and youth participation in creating a better world for all.

Why Should You Get Involved?

As a young person in Malawi, your voice, ideas, and actions are essential to shaping the future. Whether it’s through climate activism, digital innovation, entrepreneurship, or social change, your contribution can spark meaningful change both locally and globally.

This summit presents a unique opportunity to:

  • Engage in global conversations and share your perspective on pressing issues.
  • Learn from leaders and changemakers on how to effectively drive sustainable development.
  • Connect with fellow youth advocates and create a network of passionate individuals working towards a common goal.
  • Contribute to the solutions that will make Malawi, and the world, a more inclusive and resilient place.

Watch Our Special Video on How to Get Involved

We are excited to release a video in collaboration with the RCO in Malawi, designed to give you an inside look at the Summit and the key topics being discussed. But more importantly, it will show you how YOU can play a role in shaping a more inclusive, sustainable future for all. Whether through participation in local initiatives, joining discussions, or simply being informed and engaged—there’s a place for you in this global movement.

Watch the video, and get involved.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Drive Sustainable Action: Become a leader in your community by initiating sustainable projects—whether through entrepreneurship, activism, or partnerships.

Together, We Can Shape the Future

This is your moment to be part of something bigger—to contribute to the conversations that will drive sustainable development and create lasting change for future generations. The world is changing, and Malawian youth have the power to ensure that change is positive, inclusive, and forward-thinking.
