Meet Abigail Zingani, a dynamic and driven 22-year-old student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology (BIT) at the prestigious Malawi University of Science and Technology.
Abigail brings a deep curiosity for IT systems and data analysis, and a strong desire to apply those skills in meaningful, real-world settings. Her enthusiasm and commitment to continuous learning make her a standout candidate for the innovative atmosphere of the Ntha Foundation.
For Abigail, the M’mawa Management Training Programme at the Ntha Foundation is a transformative opportunity. This full-time, voluntary program not only imparts essential skills in administration, communication, digital literacy, and people management but also provides invaluable on-the-job training. Abigail’s participation in this program enriches her educational journey by offering practical insights and hands-on exposure to Ntha Foundation’s projects. The program’s emphasis on real-world application aligns seamlessly with Abigail’s goal of actively contributing her Business Information Technology skills to impactful initiatives.
Abigail is approaching every challenge and opportunity with energy and purpose. Through this apprenticeship, she aims to sharpen her skills in digital communications and project coordination—two areas she believes are key to driving innovation in Malawi. Whether supporting digital campaigns or learning how creative teams operate, Abigail claims that each task is preparing her for the kind of impact she hopes to make in the future.
Her journey, she says, isn’t just about ticking off academic goals—it’s about building a meaningful career rooted in purpose and innovation. As she continues her time at the Foundation, she will be laying the groundwork for future leadership in Malawi’s growing digital space, with the ultimate goal of using technology as a tool for social change.
