Celebrating Women’s History Month

The Kwathu Upgrade: Leading Legacy – HerStory Edition is a special edition workshop series under the Kwathu Upgrade Programme dedicated to celebrating Women’s History Month.

This week-long event aims to empower and equip young female creatives, innovators, and entrepreneurs in Africa with essential skills across digital, entrepreneurial, creative, and advocacy domains.

Through interactive workshops, mentorship sessions, and networking opportunities, participants will gain valuable insights, tools, and resources to thrive in their entrepreneurial endeavors and drive positive change in their communities.

Format:

Each workshop session will be conducted both in-person and virtually via video conferencing platforms, allowing for remote participation from anywhere in Africa.

Sessions will be interactive and participatory, featuring presentations, case studies, group discussions, and Q&A segments.

Mentorship sessions and networking opportunities will be facilitated throughout the week to foster connections and peer support among participants.

Guest Speakers:

Renowned female entrepreneurs, industry experts, and advocates will be invited to share their insights and experiences with workshop participants.

Speakers will represent diverse sectors and backgrounds, providing a comprehensive perspective on women’s entrepreneurship and leadership.

Outcome:

Participants will emerge from the Leading Legacy Week with enhanced digital, entrepreneurial, creative, and advocacy skills, empowering them to succeed as entrepreneurs and change-makers.

Increased confidence, motivation, and a strengthened network of support will enable participants to overcome challenges and seize opportunities in their entrepreneurial journey.

The workshop series will contribute to fostering a culture of female empowerment and entrepreneurship in Malawi, driving economic growth and social progress.
