Empowering Africa’s Youth for the Future | YOUTH CONNEKT AFRICA 2024 SUMMIT

We’re excited to announce that Kwathu Kollective will be at the Youth Connekt 2024 Summit in Rwanda! As one of Africa’s largest gatherings of young leaders, innovators, and change-makers, this summit brings together those passionate about driving the continent forward. This year’s theme, “Jobs for Youth Through Innovative Skilling,” resonates with our mission at Kwathu Kollective to foster creativity, entrepreneurship, and digital skills among African youth.

Our Founder, Nthanda Manduwi, in the company of our new Managing Director, Mr. Victor Caeser Gondwe, will deliver a keynote on Day 2 as part of the TED Talks segment, titled “Innovations in Youth Skilling and Employability.” She will share Kwathu Kollective’s journey and her vision for creating sustainable, youth-led solutions across Africa. Through her address, Nthanda will delve into essential strategies for bridging the skills gap between education and employment, fostering digital literacy, and promoting youth entrepreneurship. Her talk will spotlight the groundbreaking work Kwathu Kollective is doing to empower African youth, ensuring they are equipped to lead and innovate in a rapidly evolving global landscape.

But our presence at Youth Connekt 2024 doesn’t stop there. Kwathu Kollective is eager to engage with young African leaders, policymakers, and partners throughout the summit, collaborating on ideas that will fuel our shared vision of a thriving, self-reliant Africa. We believe that by working together, we can create a robust network that fosters opportunities for African youth across borders.

We invite everyone attending Youth Connekt 2024 to connect with us, share insights, and explore ways to build Africa’s future together. Whether you’re a fellow youth leader, a potential partner, or an advocate for African development, let’s collaborate to drive meaningful change. To learn more about our work, connect with us at the summit, visit our website, or reach out online. Together, we can build a prosperous, self-sustaining Africa—home to empowered, skilled, and inspired youth.
