The Kwathu Kollective team was thrilled to host a delegation from the Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST), led by Dr. Vallent and his team, at the Kwathu Koworking spaces. This visit served as a platform to reflect on the impact of our M’mawa Apprenticeship Program (MAP) and discuss potential avenues for future collaboration.
Reflecting on MAP’s Success
As part of our commitment to empowering the next generation of innovators, Kwathu Kollective has successfully trained a total of 16 students from MUST’s Computer and Information Science (CIS) Department through the M’mawa Apprenticeship Program (MAP). This program has equipped students with practical skills in digital transformation, project management, and creative enterprise development, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and industry requirements.
Our alumni have gained critical skills that include:
- Problem-solving and project execution in real-world scenarios.
- Enhanced digital literacy and creative thinking abilities.
- Team collaboration and professional communication skills.
These outcomes highlight the success of the M’mawa Apprenticeship Program and underscore the potential for deeper collaborations between Kwathu Kollective and MUST.
Looking Ahead
We are excited about the potential collaboration with MUST and the many opportunities this partnership will unlock. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to explore ways to support the next generation of innovators, leaders, and creators.
We extend our gratitude to Dr. Vallent and his team for recognizing the value of working with Kwathu Kollective. The future holds exciting possibilities, and we look forward to sharing more soon!
