At the heart of entrepreneurship lies the power of collaboration, innovation, and support. Recently, the Kwathu Kollective was represented in a thought-provoking conversation on the ‘Zantchito Entrepreneurship Voices’ programme. The discussion focused on the transformative role that incubation hubs play in entrepreneurial development across Malawi.
The panel featured insightful contributions from Jacqueline Banda of Jeyie Foods, Dr. Serah Gondwe of TACE Agribiz Hub at LUANAR, and our very own Ms. Nthanda Manduwi, founder of the Ntha Foundation and the Kwathu Kollective. Hosted by Blessings Mpinganjira, the conversation underscored how hubs like ours foster ecosystems that empower entrepreneurs, especially youth and women, through mentorship, networking, and access to essential resources.
Drawing on the successes of the Kwathu Kollective, Ms. Manduwi emphasized the need for intentional spaces that not only nurture business ideas but also equip entrepreneurs with the skills and tools to turn them into sustainable ventures.
The Zantchito Entrepreneurship Voices programme, spearheaded by the European Union in Malawi in partnership with the Malawi Government, is an ambitious initiative designed to spark a nationwide conversation on entrepreneurship. Through radio, TV, social media, and other innovative platforms, ZEV is cultivating a national culture of entrepreneurship with a unique Malawian flavor, inspiring individuals across rural and urban areas alike to embrace entrepreneurial pathways.
As a collective dedicated to supporting innovation and creativity, the Kwathu Kollective is proud to contribute to this vibrant dialogue. Together, we’re building a future where entrepreneurship thrives as a cornerstone of economic development and social progress.
