Yankho Kamtukulo | M’mawa Management Training

Meet Yankho Kamtukulo, a 22-year-old undergraduate student at the Malawi University of Science and Technology, determined to leave a lasting impact in both the fields of technology and beyond. Yankho is not your typical student; she stands out as an exceptional individual driven by a fervor for development and a genuine enthusiasm for the tech industry. Her unique blend of passion and dedication positions her as a promising candidate for the M’mawa Management Trainee role at the Ntha Foundation, showcasing her potential to contribute dynamically to both the technological and artistic aspects of the organization.

Yankho’s journey begins at the Malawi University of Science and Technology, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of  Science degree in computer systems and security. She is a young woman driven by a deep passion for the world of technology.

But Yankho’s story doesn’t stop there. She has embarked on a remarkable journey with the Ntha Foundation as a part of the M’mawa Management Malawi program. This program, generously co-funded by the Bien Corporation Africa and other partners, is a full-time, voluntary training initiative. It offers comprehensive in-class lessons and on-the-job training in various areas, including administration, communication, digital skills, people skills, and work ethics. It is designed to equip young talents like Yankho with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in the professional world.

She is excited about the prospect of refining her web development and management skills, delving into the realm of digital media, and expanding her coding horizons. For Yankho, this training is not just a stepping stone; it’s a transformative experience that will shape her into a future leader who can bridge the worlds of technology.

Yankho’s ultimate mission is as inspiring as it is noble. She aspires to empower others to nurture their creativity and innovations, helping them achieve independence and success in income generation. This vision aligns perfectly with the ethos of M’mawa Management Malawi, which seeks to create a new generation of leaders who are not only skilled in various professional disciplines but are also committed to making a positive impact on society.
