We’re delighted to announce Mr. Victor C. Gondwe as the new Managing Director of Kwathu Kollective, a role that reflects his dedication, expertise, and visionary leadership.
Victor’s journey with us began when he joined the Ntha Foundation as an associate through the M’mawa Apprenticeship Programme. Since then, he has become an integral part of our team, demonstrating exceptional commitment and resilience.
After our founder, Ms. Nthanda Manduwi, relocated to New York to work with the United Nations as an Evaluation Analyst, Victor rose to the challenge, taking charge of key projects like Digital Malawi, and ensuring that our mission to empower Africa’s youth remained steadfast.
Victor’s role as Managing Director marks a new chapter for the Kwathu Kollective as we pursue ambitious goals over the next few years. He brings a strategic vision centered on growth and sustainability, aligned with our mission to cultivate creativity, innovation, and education across Africa.
His roadmap for 2024-2026 lays out exciting new initiatives, including expanding our Kwathu Kowork spaces into other African cities, enhancing our Digital Skills for Africa (DSA) platform to reach 50,000 learners, and establishing the Kwathu Research Center through partnerships with local universities. His leadership reflects our shared values of nurturing talent, fostering entrepreneurship, and advancing research across the continent.
Victor’s Strategic Roadmap for 2024-2026 envisions Kwathu Kollective as Africa’s leading network for innovation and creative industries, bridging gaps between startups, tech pioneers, and established corporations. You can read more about his detailed plans in our recently published article, Kwathu Kollective: Strategic Roadmap 2024-2026.
We’re excited to see Kwathu Kollective continue to flourish under Victor’s leadership, and we invite everyone to join us on this journey. Together, let’s build a thriving, interconnected African community driven by creative and innovative young leaders.
