We are excited to announce our partnership with the Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) to launch a transformative initiative for young professionals and innovators. Initially, we had intended to run the fifth cohort of the M’mawa Apprenticeship Programme (MAP). However, after engaging with our apprentices and understanding their aspirations, we made the decision to pivot and offer the Nyenyezi Entrepreneurship Fellowship (NEF) instead.
About the M’mawa Apprenticeship (MAP)
Established in 2020, the Nyenyezi Entrepreneurship Fellowship is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs who are eager to develop business acumen, refine their ideas, and build sustainable ventures. Through this program, fellows receive mentorship, guidance on crafting impactful business plans, and opportunities to pitch their ideas to potential partners and investors. NEF aims to equip young innovators with the tools and confidence to excel in entrepreneurship and make meaningful contributions to Malawi’s economic growth.
About the Nyenyezi Entrepreneurship Fellowship (NEF)
This shift reflects our commitment to tailoring our programs to meet the unique needs and aspirations of our participants. We are thrilled to welcome seven fellows, all pending Bachelor’s degree graduates from MUST, to the Kwathu Kollective. Over the next 16 weeks (January to April 2025), they will participate in a blend of hands-on workshops, mentorship sessions, and entrepreneurial projects, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and the practical demands of launching successful businesses.
