The Kwathu Upgrade: Malawi Wanga Edition project, implemented by the Ntha Foundation, aims to strengthen the tourism sector in Salima and Zomba districts of Malawi by providing comprehensive training and support to local entrepreneurs in the digital media and creation space. The project specifically targets women-led and youth-led SMEs, as well as marginalized individuals in tourism-related trades such as hospitality, tour guiding, memorabilia selling, Tourism Content Creators and Photographers, cultural musicians and dancers.
The training program is open to all including companies that work in the tourism sector.
The 6-month project will consist of two cohorts, with each cohort receiving 3 months of practical training and business incubation. Training will be done physically and virtually. Interested applicants are invited to apply by filling out this form:
