A Visit from the Zimbabwean Ambassadors | KWATHU KOWORK

We were honored to welcome the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, H.E. Dr. Nancy Saungweme, Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe to Malawi, and Deputy Ambassador H.E. Lovemore Matemera, to the Ntha Foundation‘s Kwathu Kowork Spaces. This significant visit stemmed from a fruitful meeting with Ms. Nthanda Manduwi during the Africa Day event, where the Ambassadors expressed keen interest in our work and initiatives in Malawi.

During their visit, we engaged in insightful discussions on entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on youth entrepreneurship and digitalisation in Africa. Ambassador Saungweme shared inspiring examples of similar initiatives being undertaken by entrepreneurs in Zimbabwe, highlighting potential synergies and areas for mutual learning and collaboration with the Kwathu Kollective.

The Ambassadors emphasized the importance of fostering cross-border collaboration and introduced us to valuable opportunities such as the International Trade Fair in Zimbabwe and the CEO Africa Round Table. These platforms offer the Kwathu Kollective avenues to expand our initiatives, tap into the Zimbabwean market, and forge new partnerships that can drive growth and innovation.

We are grateful for the support and insights shared by Ambassador Saungweme and Deputy Ambassador Matemera. Their visit not only strengthens the ties between Malawi and Zimbabwe but also reinforces our commitment to empowering young entrepreneurs and advancing digitalisation across Africa. We look forward to exploring these opportunities and continuing our journey of making a positive impact through the Kwathu Kollective.

Stay tuned for more updates on our initiatives and collaborations as we work together to build a brighter future for Africa.
